Deep South Chicken has left an indelible mark on our taste buds with their outstanding Chicken Tenders. We decided to give this place a try based on a friend's recommendation, and we're so glad we did! The Chicken Tenders at Deep South Chicken are in a league of their own. They have a unique spice blend that sets them apart from the usual offerings, leaving a memorable taste lingering on your palate. Each bite was a burst of flavour that kept us coming back for more. To complete the meal, the Chicken Tenders came with a side of perfectly seasoned fries that were simply delightful. The fries had a lovely seasoning that elevated their taste and made them an excellent companion to the main dish. Also, the macaroni salad was very good, with a creamy and flavourful dressing. The cornbread had a nice sweetness and texture. We placed our order on the 25th of June 2023, and it was a decision we didn't regret. The quality of the food was outstanding, and the taste surpassed our expectations. The friendly staff at Deep South Chicken ensured that our experience was pleasant and satisfying. if you were an existing customer to this store a few month's ago you need to hear this. I used to eat here all the time, the chicken patties were massive and the tenders were too. they are now under new management and have shrunken everything! the chicken patties are 80% crumbs now and the tenders is a tiny strip and also 80 % crumbs. after calling an employee to complain about how I didn't get a large chips, he assured me I did and that their ,portions of chips are significantly smaller and that, and i quote, "the regular side and large side look the same." so why did I pay for a large chips? and you are now not able to just get a side of chips, you MUST get a meal, including a drink and the "side of chips" is like 10 to 15 chips max. the new management have ruined everything that made this place great. when my friend went and asked why no cash was accepted, she was told "because our Brisbane store was robbed"... they don't have a Brisbane store. My boyfriend asked this same question a few weeks prior and the employee told him it was because they are under new management. so the new management has outright told their employees to lie. I used to eat here all the time, so I very well can tell the difference. I used to get the same sauce and they have now changed the ingredients in the sauce so that it's less creamy and has a nasty aftertaste of olives when it never used to... I used to give this place a 5 stars, but under this new management, it deserves a 1.

Such lovely customer service. We brought the family wings box! They let me know that they only had 11 wings instead of 15 and asked if I would like to take some chicken tenders in replace of wings or wait 5-6mins for more wings. I didn’t mind taking the tenders. When I got home our box was full! The wings and tenders had that perfect crispy chicken. And we’re full of flavour. The chips and seasoning was delicious! We had to force ourselves to stop over eating them. We tried the corn bread we have nothing to compare it to as we have never had it before. It had nice texture and a little sweetness. Not sure if I would order that again, nothing they don’t wrong it just wasn’t my thing. The Macaroni salad, could do with a bit more salt or something just to give it a little bit more of a hit. The sauces, I feel need to match your meal size your buying. They were a bit small for a family sized meal. But live the flavour of both the ranch and bbq sauce. We’ll definitely be back to try some burgers!
